making it just right up over the east bay hills at this point. and now, beginning to encroach areas on 680, closer to ramon, dublin. widespread on the east bay shores. san leandro, hayward. fremont. as we get into the winds, the onshore breezes with us as well. fairfield 18. concord, a southerly gust of 23. as we get into the afternoon for today, the fog is expected to pull back. but our west-facing beaches will remain under 5. then as we get into the evening hours, it ross the bay. illegal fireworks by using its online tool. you can snap, click and report photos or video of anyone using, storing or selling illegal fireworks. and there's a 24-hour hotline to report violators. the fines? they start at $500 if you're caught with illegal fireworks. and just this week. the alameda county sheriff's office, confiscated more than 2300 pounds of illegal fireworks. aerial fireworks like rockets and missiles are banned. all across california. so-called safe and sane fireworks, like sparklers. they're legal and on sale in some bay area cities. >>> time is 4

from our east bay hills camera, looking at that cloud deck of the marine layer. it is below 2,000 feet, but it is with us from the marin county coast all the way down towards the san mateo coast and locally pushing across over into, say, fremont and hayward with six to seven-mile visibility here. at the shoreline and a little bit better as you head out towards the east bay, and it is clear there. you can see here from our vantage point, looks a little haze. 55 in san francisco and half moon bay. 56 in redwood city. san jose is checking in at 57. and from emeryville, no sun yet, upper 40s. santa rosa, 55. napa, 56. with upper 40s in petaluma and upper 50s in concord. so talk to you about the winds. we have had the sea breeze. as we go through the afternoon, quite gusty at the coast. elsewhere not bad. when we get the warmer air, the onshore flow tends to back off a bit, but as we go into the evening hours -- this is 4:00 -- the winds are coming unagap aga along the coast. overnight, getting gusty here. this is 2:00 in the morning. by tomorrow afternoon, remember w
