welcome to "squawk box" here on cnbc we are live from the nasdaq market site in times square. i'm becky quick along with joe kernen and andrew ross sorkin. and this morning, the u.s. equity futures are basically flat this comes after a big day for the markets across the board yesterday, though. the dow wasup by almost 200 points yesterday, a gain of about 0.7% the s&p was up by 23 points, and then the nasdaq was the big gainer yesterday it was up by 112 points, which is a gain of 1.3%. it was the best day for the nasdaq since october 11th, and it means that all three of the major averages closed at record levels once again. this morning it looks like the dow is indicated down about 8 1/2 points s&p futures down by less than a point. nasdaq is barely lower as well then if you take a look at the treasury market, the ten-year note this morning, looking at yields slightly lower than yesterday at this point. 1.745% >>> as we said at the top of the show, top u.s. and chinese trade negotiators held a phone call last night, according to
