biden is at 49%. he was expected to have a 20-point lead over sanders and we've got something close to a 30-point lead there. tom steyer didn't make it in. he was expected to come in third but he didn't make the 15% that was important to him, so he dropped out of the race. as you can see, the others follow. there were 54 delegates at stake in the state. this is the total number of delegates in the four races so far. you need 1,991 to clinch the nomination on the first ballot. bernie sanders is in the lead with 56. biden is number two with 49. pete buttigieg is in number three with 26, but, again, these numbers are relevant for the next two days because super tuesday, which has a third of all available delegates, is on tuesday. and they call it super for a reason because none of this is going to matter after tuesday. joining me now from south carolina is the chair of the south carolina democratic party, who i think has been sitting in that chair since, like, 8:00 this morning or something. i saw you ta
