right now we will bring in our south bay reporter. jesse you are very familiar with this particular area of san jose. talk about what you are seeing right now. >> i'm watching like everyone else, here on the television or online, this is santa clara street which is one of the main drags downtown in fact city hall is on santa clara street, maybe a mile or so back to the west. this looks like it is the eastbound side of santa clara as you approach the 101 freeway, which if you keep going east on santa clara, will take you into east san jose. the area where you see these people gathered, you have stores and shops and such, not too far from roosevelt park community center. it appears as though the chp is making sure they don't get back they have their cruisers parked the way they'd do to keep them off the freeway. that makes it more of a problem and it's also dangerous someone coming down the freeway not realize what's going on and hit somebody. i think that's what you are seeing. that's santa clara and as you go over the over past you go

then by the afternoon i have some of these spotty showers over the east bay, south bay, and the peninsula. temperatures tomorrow don't really adjust a whole lot. we've had several back-to-back systems over the past couple of days, and each one of them has brought some cooler than average air. so it's just keeping us across the board very similar. 69 in san jose. 67 in cupertino. for the east bay, 70 in antioch. vallejo at 64. the peninsula will also have plenty of mid to upper 60s from san mateo down to palo alto. san francisco, 60s as well right over the marina and downtown. 63 degrees and 60 respectively. over to the outer sunset, 62. the north bay, 62 in clearlake, and you can see as we get closer to the bay, a little milder with 65 in sonoma. my extended forecast, tomorrow has trace amounts to 0.15 of an inch on that rain chance. we hold on to a spotty chance into thursday. we're dry friday. next system approaches on saturday. mostly cloudy skies. then by sunday we'll see around a quarter to a half inch of rain with chances of rain lingering into monday. temperatures in the 60s here f

south bay you might get a little bit over a trace. all of this is going to quiet down as we head into saturday evening. this is not a long-lived rain event. this is the view from our sales force tower camera looking to the north to the golden gate bridge. all we're seeing is fog. same view toward the bottom of our sales force camera look to the east. you can see the bay bridge. 73 in concord. down to 54 degrees in the city. 60 degrees in oakland. 56 santa rosa but 66 in san jose. temperatures all over the place. the fog is an issue early tomorrow morning around the bay and along the coast, but it will dissipate and temperatures will warm up from lows in the 50s to around 60 degrees. slightly cooler than where we started off this morning. temperatures for jordie in san francisco are going to warm up, but we're not talking about a lot. climbing up into the 70s near the airport. i think around 70 degrees for that high temperature right downtown. so it's going to be variable even around the bay. farther inland another hot day just contras
