lee ann caldwell is at the white house, and jo link kent, what can you tell you about they stalled talks? >> good morn, ayman. democrats say that republicans are in disarray. that's not very far from the truth. senator mcconnell has been writing this -- when he trying to present it to his conference, there was a lot of disagreement in that meeting where represents left clearly frustrated and annoyed. we heard from -- we were told that senator ted cruz said, what the hell are we doing? we heard from fluorrand paul, who said it was like a meeting of the progressive caucus. so the reality is mcconnell has to weigh the different faxction in his conversation. he has to balance those who want more help for their states versus some conservatives saying, pump the brakes, stop. we don't need more money, especially a trillion. the white house is pushing for a payroll tax cut. they want less money for coronavirus testing. these are just some of the issues that republicans have to come to an agreement on before they can even start negotiating with democrats, especially as there's a strict deadline o
