but the usmca is not a panacea. things can only improve when the living conditions of workers in canada, in the u.s., and in mexico improve. and that is why in the end, i want up voting against the usmca. one other provision that was completely ignored by the usmca, even though it had modest improvements, was the omission -- even the word climate change is not included in the agreement. in this day and age when so many countries are recognizing that climate change is a threat to everything that we are as a country and as the civilized world, it was omitted from the usmca. another reason why i voted against the agreement, because i felt it was a shortcoming and .hat we should have done more european countries and the european union understand climate change, are taking measures to invest in sustainable energy and moving array -- away from fossil fuels. we don't have the luxury of not addressing climate change in a most important economic agreement between the two countries -- between the three countries in north amer
