it is less the more south you go. let's do this again for the south and east bay. as we look at the totals, we may only get .07 in milpedes. on the peninsula, we may not get a lot of rain. it will look like a rain storm. it will be cloudy. you will get light rain but there shouldn't be large amounts for most of the bay down here. let's look at the timing. first bands of rain get here by early morning. that says 11:00 a.m. you see why the north bay will get the better totals. better rain across the north bay pretty much throughout late morning and early afternoon. it is not until the early afternoon that we even notice the rain across the golden gate bridge and start to get down for the rest of the bay area. here we are going into just around sun set, a little after sun set in fact. we are starting to see more noticeable light showers get to the south bay. most of today it won't even rain and then when it does in the afternoon, you get light amounts out of it. maybe a few left over showers in overnight hours and last stragglers are done around sunrise on saturday. t
