it wasn't long before he was lured into a life of public service and elected mayor of gillette, wyoming. he would was the head of the department of interior, to the state house and eventually to the united states senate. but senator enzi still holds on to the lessons he learned in those early days selling shoes. a few years ago he said legislating is like selling shoes. you have to know your market,

wyoming, it's an energy state. in regards to energy, joe biden has repeatedly said that he's against a lot of exploration for energy, a lot of exporting of energy so his nominee for the secretary of energy has said this. she said we ought to be doing everything we possibly can to keep fossil fuel energy in the ground. the impact of that on our economy, on jobs, it is -- it cuts the throat of my state, our economy, the men and women who work there, the energy that america needs, it's going to drive up costs significantly for american families. so you bet i'm going to ask tough questions. chris: finally, president trump says that he is going to veto the ndaa, the defense authorization act, that funds the pentagon, funds an air force base in your state of wyoming and that includes 26 new measures that would deal with cyber defense. this of course in the quake of this terrible cyber hack that we've had this week. if the president goes ahead with his promise and he says he's going to he veto it, he would have to by this

i talked to healthcare providers in wyoming and this weekend there's a huge sigh of relief as they look forward to receiving the shot, the medicine because it will provide relief for them the doctors, the nurses the therapists. i think of this of being a doctor in terms of how important is this, it is similar to insulin. to penicillin. and certainly safe effective as the polio vaccine. it is exactly what we need to get america back on track in terms of our economy, kids back to school, and put the disease behind us. so what have the democrats been doing? they have continued to block us every step along the line. just in the last couple of weeks both speaker pelosi and senator durbin have admitted that they held up relief for political purposes. they held up coronavirus relief for political purposes because of the election and allow the american people to continue in isolation and hardships because they had a political agenda. they blocked our efforts as republicans different times for it's time for the political games to be over. we need a solution. the american people are depending on
