this is hall county well northeast of atlanta. peter doocy is reporting that republican officials in that town, heavily republican, 70% of the vote for donald trump, they are reporting that today they had 23,000 voters in person today on election day to go months ago they had 15,000. that's the difference reporting of 78,000 votes today. welcome donald trump's at 64,000. so you're off quite a bit. however, in person voting is what republicans are relying on and that seems to be a positive indicator for the republicans, at least in that part of the state of georgia today. what is loeffler going to do? what is purdue going to do? this is where you find your votes. donald trump is at 80%. republicans, they tick higher in that count. if you come down here to the southwest here in marion county, a similar story where they did better than they had in the previous election. i can show you a few more example as well. kind of tight here between the democrat and the republican. what i would tell you though, the examples i want to show you o

nice to see you here in atlanta. this is a race that separates the republican from the democrat by six total votes. hasn't been called. this is debated. >> miller meeks is the republican in the second district of iowa. people in iowa have been watching this race closely. republicans did surprisingly well in the lower ticket races across the country nancy pelosi has dug in on this one and not willing to call miller meeks the representative from that division but provisional as she gets sworn in. rita hart, the democrat in the district lost by six votes. no one other than the extremely well-known and very successful democrat attorney for election policy, he really should be credited with winning these cases across the country that set much of the tone and a lot of things president trump and republicans are angry about is very deeply involved in this. he says he has found 24 ballots that would make rita hart the winner. the democrat in that district. this is a drama and so much going on. this little drama without everyt

correspondent peter doocy starts us off tonight from here in atlanta. good evening, peter. speak a good evening, bret. i'm hearing from republican sources that text messages and phone calls going out right now and for the rest of the hour to urge georgia republicans to get in line because if they do, if you are in line by 7:00, you can vote. the latest from kelly loeffler and david purdue is a joint statement that says this, we are encouraged by reports of high voter turn out, but nick made no make no mistake, it could come down to the difference of just a few votes in a few precinct across the state. >> over 5 million people voted in november. if we get near that boat turned out today, we'll be in great shape. republicans notoriously wait till the last minute to wait till election day and today is no different and i'm very confident that they know what at stake and we will get this vote out. >> republicans believe that this race is going to be very tight but there is a huge gulf between what happens if they win and what happens if they lose based on the closing arguments.

i met him in atlanta. we put together a challenge delegation when i was still in school to challenge lester maddux our governor at the chicago convention in 1968. and by a miracle we got seated and julian became a life long friend. we had the same birthday which we celebrated together for almost 50 years until he died a couple years ago. i miss him very sadly. one of our delegates was john lewis and the next summer he hired me to work for the voter education project 1969. the first time i'd ever done anything really in civil rights except for that challenge delegation. and he sent me into south georgia to try to register voters by myself. it was an odyssey of discovery. columbus could not have been more lost when he sailed west than i was. my commission i had 20 counties where they had no connections, nobody on their rolodex. black majority counties with practically no black registered voters. i had three days that summer in each county to visit 20 counties and see if i could find somebody capable and will

again, biggest in the state, atlanta, atlanta suburbs. you're seeing right now, actually -- let me just confirm, adam, is this it for fulton? we have to check on that. if this is it, then what we've said at the start of the night, the democrats in fulton county, do they get to that biden number and al qaeda it. what you're seeing right now with what appears to be all or close to all of the vote in fulton county is warnock a little bit more than a point better than joe biden's number. and the perdue race, ossoff at 72.9, biden at 72.6. i think this is key because in this county in november, ossoff was under 70%. he was 69 and change. so ossoff ran about three points below biden, or if you will, perdue ran about three points above trump in fulton county back in november. where you saw the most pronounced split ticket voting was in suburban portions of fulton county. you saw it in roswell, alpharetta, buckhead, that's where the most voters went out and voted biden and then voted republicans for the senate. what you're seeing here with what a

i start with the entertainment industry in atlanta. i think a lot of people perhaps don't know this, but the entertainment industry in atlanta, according to georgia tech, atlanta's adult industry brings in $240 million in annual sales which has a greater economic impact than all the sports teams in atlanta. and the city ranks fifth in the country for highest number of strip clubs per 100,000 residents. so the booty to the polls video really met people where they are. how much of an impact do you think these videos have had on get out the vote? >> it's lard for hard for us to. get your booty to the poll is not a huge organization. it's me and my friend paul fox who decided to do something. just the two of us and didn't have the budget to find the numbers' chup impact. i think it mattered. people have come to me said i wasn't sure i would vote and are going to vote. oh, since get your booty to the poll, my husband wasn't going to vote. saw the dance and now is going to vote. i know it's made some impact. i think a collective impact. it h

we're coming to you live from the georgia congress center in atlanta. ground zero for these crucial run-off elections that will decide which party controls the united states senate as bill and i were discussing. president trump will hold a rally in atlanta for kelly loeffler and david purdue. all of this as the president and georgia's secretary of state, brad rathlisberger continue to spar and over a leaked phone conversation. we'll speak with georgia's secretary of state. so stick around for that. first, we have fox team coverage of peter doocy in atlanta and john robert at the white house. we begin with peter doocy. hi, peter. >> martha, good afternoon. 3 1/2 minutes ago, we got word that the press pool travelling with the president-elect is on the ground. they travel a minute or two or ahead of joe biden. we expect him to be here relatively soon in the next 15 or 20 minutes if everything is on schedule. biden is coming to try to secure a democratic senate that could make it easier to make his multi-trillion dollar progressive ideas a reality starting

. >> we are going to atlanta. good afternoon. you are in georgia, which saw an awful lot of activity and conflict treaty since the november election and got caught up in the allegations of voter fraud and seen two elections that swung over to the democrats and kamala harris having a casting vote there. tell us about the situation in georgia and how you have assessed it going up to today. >> i just want to point out that a lot of the security that was surrounding the capitol building here in georgia has officially left the building, so to speak. they are no longer camped outside. there are a couple of the national guards out here. so all of the anticipation for potential violence for atlanta-right groups to be potentiay mow testing, armed and bring violence to the exols all over america. that did not happen. today was a peaceful transition of power here in atlanta. the streets were closed for most of the day. there were helicopters sclling and aot of security and it has changed and very quiet on the streets of atlanta in front of

in a panic, the city of atlanta adopted its model. atlanta, the city too busy to hate. i went to school the next day and ask the only professor that i had that could comment on that because he was telling me what a joke it was that our school was saying we weren't segregated, we just didn't have any qualified black applicants yet. i asked him what does this mean? we are bragging about the fact that we are too busy to hate. doesn't that mean that we have to stay busy to not have a natural inclination to hate? if we were bragging we were too busy to hate. what would we confess? we realized that race really plummets the elected leaders of atlanta. by the spring of 1963, i told my mother, that this race issue had been going on for nine years since the brown decision. i'm a junior in high school, i think when i get really old and well established like 31 [laughs] i'm gonna stick a toe in this race issue. it seems to go really deep. whether i'm a doctor or not, that's what i'm going to do. and it seemed within a few days of this promise when i was going to do and distant futu

[applause] this pandemic highlightedmany challenges for communities outside metro atlanta . but none more so than the critical need for high-speed internetaccess . or better healthcare and educational outcomes, for job opportunities and something as simple as keeping in touch with loved ones. that's why i'm proud to announce we are including $20 million for this fiscal year and $10 million per year moving forward to boost access for rural broadband grants to local leaders continue a growing and vital partnership with the private sector and quickly improve internet access for the people of rural georgia. tom: emily wilkins in atlanta. the news flow this morning out of atlanta extraordinary. we have not seen an ap change in voting over the past three hours. 16,000 votes separating ossoff rum perdue, and that by no means precludes a recount as we see with warnock and loeffler where there is a substantial gap there. momente politics of the we are thrilled to bring you andrew slimmon with morgan stanley investment management. how do you synthesize the politics whether it is here, fighting for his life in france. how do you do what you do it morgan stanley in this political maelstrom? andrew: what an exciting morning. the big story as it pertains to financial markets is the 10 year treasury has broken 1%. whether that is political, the story of the economy recovering, whatever, i think it's important. inhink it causes a shift rotation leadership in the market. i think the political story is just part of it. i think the economy recovering, maybe it's more stimulus on the way. to the financial markets and what is going on, this is the really big story of the day. does this give

putnam county, southeast of atlanta, again, a red county. they announced about an hour, hour and a half they had already crossed over the threshold of the number they cast in november. we've got some other counties that are smaller counties. let me refer to my phone. i'm carrying them around here. >> hannity: no worries. we got you covered, karl. >> there we go. too many people are e-mailing me. irwin county, 32% greater turnout today than in november. franklin county, 37% greater turnout today than in november. towns county, 38%, dawson county, 38%. glenn county 35%. not only that, but good totals. glenn county 37,000 votes. that is more than a third more than they had in november. couple of others. miller county, kelly loeffler is getting 77% there, perdue getting 79% there. there are only 176 fewer voters in that county than they had in november. webster county, 56% for loeffler. they are -- perdue got 54% of the vote there in november. so not only are we getting a lot of rural counties and smaller counties that are having a heavier turno

jonathan serrie is in atlanta. how huge might it be? >> here in fulton county we are seeing a steady turnout and earlier this morning there was a line outside, it also picked up during the lunch break. investigators state and local and federal are looking into threats that arrived in several parts of the states, nearly a dozen parts of the state. the georgia bureau of investigation says "our agency is working with partners to investigate the threats. the goal is to ensure a safe election and that all voters have access to polling locations." >> we anticipate there could be any number of potential threats out there that could be attempting to encourage or discourage turnouts. we encourage everyone to turn out and be safe, be smart, and don't let anybody get in the way of you casting your vote. >> state officials are concerned this information will prevent some georgians from voting. they're accusing george's republican senators of pandering to unsubstantiated rumors to win trump supporter's, but david perdue and kelly leffler insists, me
