in our correspondent emily sherwin joins us now from the original airport that no volley was supposed to land at and really what's the latest you can tell us. well the latest i can tell you is that just a few minutes ago or perhaps a half an hour ago this area behind me was full of supporters who were chanting his name they were chanting that russia will be free and it almost felt a bit like a protest several arrests were made as you say there was a huge police presence the barriers that were set up yesterday are still in place here but his plane was diverted to shouldn't need to go as you say a different airport there have been now reports that that he has landed he made a short speech upon arrival saying that he's happy to be back in russia and apologizing to his fellow passengers for the inconvenience that he may have caused because the plane was after all basically half full of journalists who were trying to interview him in that plane. and we're getting reports that they are trying to perhaps prevent his supporters and other journalists from arriving at the other airport and shou
