ken: appreciate that. i appreciate that. maria: i'm just asking you how do you assess what took place last week where all of those people reached the capitol? ken: sure, the capitol police really didn't have an integrated plan with the police forces around them and they weren't prepared for an ordinary protest to become violent. they weren't prepared at all in terms of numbers, equipment and positioning nor prepared in backup plans, using the same intel, we saw the same intel they did, we were responsible for the other buildings other than the capitol, federal buildings and we were on an alert footing. we had backup officers in place, federal protect service has problems in a particular place. we had backup plans to bring additional officers. that doesn't appear to have been readily planned by the capitol police. maria: i see. okay. let me ask you about policy in general around the border and security for the country. vice president elect kamala harris is teasing the biden administration for immigration earlier this week and
