kron 4 meteorologist mabrisa rodriguez is in the weather center with a look ahead. yes, 2nd half of the weekend looking great. so let's take a look at your sunday microclimate outlook. we are tracking thick fog being with that low cloud cover now making its way into downtown san francisco to 2 miles visibility. so please drive safely for your saturday night. we are going to remain in the mid 60's for most bay area. coastal city's downtown san francisco at 65 degrees. golden gate park in the low 60's and the sunset district 58 degrees and widespread mid 50's from on terror and granada winds still going to get that cool sea breeze out of the west-southwest at times 15 to 20 miles per hour wind fortunately not going to be as breezy for the 2nd half of your weekend widespread low 70's. for those of you from san bruno to millbrae and even burlingame as well and warming up into the mid 70's for those of you in san mateo and san carlos and upper 70's for redwood city. so enjoy that relief there even for our innermost valleys in the south bay widespread low to mid 80's. but

kron 4 meteorologist mabrisa rodriguez here tonight with a look at what's on the way as you start. >> your sunday. >> yeah, we're going to notice a change in wind direction. so instead of getting more of that northerly flow that ramped up temperatures this weekend and even brought us those hazy skies. we're going to see more of a cool sea breeze in full. and so it's not going to be as hot as it was today for the 2nd half of your weekend. still 5 to 15 degrees below boat above normal. but the good thing is we are going to see that cool sea breeze influence arriving along the coast as early as sunday morning. and those of you looking to get relief as you try to make your way into this year and just stay in the bay area because we're actually tracking worst air quality out there right now when no marine layer presents for the bay area and even for those of you in the sierra not a cloud in the sky. very hazy conditions as well because of that caliber fire actually inching closer toward south lake tahoe about 8 miles away from that city. but we are going to be under a fire weather watch st

you can see the clouds rolling back in over the marin headlands kron 4 meteorologist mabrisa rodriguez has. look at what we can expect as we move into thursday and friday in recent days, the nausea an all-clear as you make your way into the east bay over berkeley. so that cloud cover. >> not reaching across the bay just yet. but mainly hanging tight around our bay area coastline. crystal clear conditions for this year right now. but we do have the threat of imminent fire danger starting at midnight tonight through thursday night. and that's because of gusty winds out of the southwest 40 miles per hour less dropping relative humidity in the single digits at times as low as 5%. so extreme bone dry conditions there futurecast for going to show very dry clear skies continuing through thursday. in addition to those gusty winds slight chance of pop-up thunderstorms, though truckee low 80's. for those of you south lake tahoe 79 degrees warming up into the mid 80's by this weekend with calmer conditions friday into saturday. and for us here in the bay area. we're going to continue that cooling

our meteorologist mabrisa rodriguez is here now she's looking at the weather conditions in that area how hot is it how windy is it what's the situation. yeah that's what noticing this recipe for fire danger there is a red flag warning in effect for the highest peaks and lake county. >>elevations above 1500 feet going to see wind speeds and directions out of the northeast 20 to 30 miles per hour with that imminent fire danger warning in effect through 11 o'clock thursday morning and we're tracking right now low 90's in the area relative humidity in the teens wind speeds out there right now specifically at the lower levels 7 miles per hour. but we are tracking gusts in that 20 to 30 mile per hour range for the cash fire areas, but here at home we're noticing effect from the fires to our north and east bringing smoky and hazy sky conditions out there you can see with radar for that marine layer nonexistent, so all of what looks like cloud cover up in the upper levels it's actually smoke and ash from those fires our wind direction north and east pushing in all that smoke and ash into our
