she was a marine's marine. she cared about people. she loved fierceless. and she was a light in this very dark world. . one marine who worked with her wrote nicole loved what she was doing. what she was doing out here and she knew the risks. she did it anyway because she is and forever will be one bad ass marine. for two weeks residents and visitors have been paying their respects to sergeant guy and her 12 fallen comrades outside of camp lejeune. thank you to all the military families and community members for adorning the gates with flowers, meaningful signs, and combat boots. the outpouring of love and support that i have seen in the third district is a true testament to the epic leggacy that sergeant guy and all our other lost u.s. servicemen leave behind. it's an honor to represent the marines in my district. they represent the very best amongst our steadfast patriots risking everything to preserve life and liberty for our great nation. their commitment is unmatched. i again extend my sincere condolences to sergeant guy's family, her -- gee's family,

he was a fine marine. he was sent on his first deployment to jordan earlier this year end then received orders to afghanistan. jared schmitz, lance corporal schmitz was there on august 26, they are at the kabul airport doing his duty, serving his country, smiling nonstop when the enemy attacked. and it was there, lance corporal schmitz, age 20 gave his life for the people he loved for the nation he served. he died that others might live. i had the privilege of speaking to lance corporal schmitz is a family just hours after he learned of jared's death. i said this to them, i promise i would say it for the whole nation that jared's mission lived a life of honor but he lived a life worth living and his sacrifice was not in vain. he did not have to serve. he did not have to deploy halfway around the world. he did not have to stand protecting americans and other innocent people as disaster unfolded it. he did not have to do any of it. he chose to do it. hehe chose to serve. he chose to give his life for others.

our live camera network showing us that marine layer pushing through the bay area. and that is definitely cooling us down. this is our east bay's own our camera on top of the berkeley hills here and a future cast for showing us that marine layer pushing through here and then as we get over through the next couple of days. we are tracking a storm system coming out of the pacific northwest. that could be bringing us some rainfall across the bay area this weekend, saturday and even into sunday. so get your umbrellas ready just in case. it looks like if anybody is going to get the bulk of it are probably be the north bay and then it will continue to spread south. so we're hoping that this storm system stays with us and then it looks like things are going to clear out by monday. and that's we're going to start to see a warm up around the bay area. so guys, we're seeing a cool down for the next couple of days to end the week and then get into the weekend and then things are going to change. we're going to get back into the 80's 90's next week. but we are hoping for this r
