we have the truck parked on san bruno mountain. let's head over towards the east bay because we've seen a lot of lightning activity here over the past few hours. i'm looping this going back 12 hours and we can see where those lightning strikes occurred and there have been lots of them, anywhere from south san francisco over towards the east bay. we've seen the lightning developing during the late evening hours and still continuing this morning. as we've seen the active weather system passing by. for the north bay, this is where it sparked several fires earlier this morning. it looks like they are getting a lot of that under control, but as far as the rain, we've seen some of this and some of the hills pouring down but moving too quickly to really help out with the drought situation. it's really not able to soak in the vegetation, in the summertime goes dormant. looking at the lightning strikes and what's happening right now, mainly the rain moving over the delta passing south of fairfield. we can see the lightning strikes as storm
