we have some encouraging news in the northbay. you can see that back edge of our atmospheric river, it is beginning to move out of the northbay. we've seen almost six to nine inches across the northbay. heavy rain still across the central part of the bay and even into the south bay. we are watching thunderstorms that have developed live doppler 7 in up lightning strikes in mendocino. we do anticipate thunderstorms to stay out of our neck of the woods. live doppler 7 now, still a lot of rainfall to go through. these pops of yellow and orange through san francisco, the east bay as well. zooming out of her san francisco, some heavy rain. even in oakland. it's just been raining nonstop the last 24 hours. we're going to see the back edge of this atmospheric river moved to the city and that east bay within the next hour or so, then it moves to the south bay within the next four to five hours. here's the bigger picture. you can see our atmospheric river is just aim right at the bay area with that heavy rain and those strong, gusty winds
