kristine: absolutely. the signals we are getting from asia is this story of inflation being transitory is what policymakers are saying, and it is what we are hearing from the fed tomorrow, putting into questions the nature of inflation and the way they are going to have to respond to this. it is on policymakers to make that decision. are they going to go through market expectations to start raising rates? this boe is expected to do that as soon as february, and we will watch it for rate hikes and whether the activity we saw in markets halt all of that. tom: we are looking at russian equities as well. kristine: it speaks to how much the russian situation is weighing on markets and sentiment right now. russia has the etf and the inflows were initially deceiving but if you look at the short interest data, it went to a third of inflow, and people are plowing their money into this not to buy into russia but to short it in a reflection of the sentiment on russia at the moment because of this. francine: thank you
