anna: thank, kriti gupta. let's take a look at oil, heading for its third weekly loss due to tumbling chinese demand. jp morgan is watching the eu ban on the potential for it. it has warned brent crude could get higher, $185 a barrel. joining us now is the analyst who wrote the report, natasha kaneva from j.p. morgan chase. nice to see you, thanks for joining us. what would need to come together to result in 185, is that the extreme of the scenarios you have looked at? natasha: absolutely this is an extreme. the speed of how fast the market can get to that price is how fast the european union decides to move away from russian oil. we believe this will be what europe will do, move away from russian energy in general but the market needs time. if they do it immediately, then we would see the price going as high as $185. 4 million barrels a day lost which the market cannot absorb quickly. kailey: one thing for prices to hit $185 a barrel, another thing to stay there. i would imagine some demand destruction would

anna: ok. where do you think we will get to, tatjana? where do you think the yields need to get to to entice buyers back in to that market? at what point do buyers say i know inflation's this high but i'm going to get back to sovereign debt? tatjana: lookings we already see a lot of movement and clearly hedge the higher interest rates are going and the more expensive it takes over the long period of time. so what i would anticipate is there would be more volatility in interest rates and the positioning because they want to keep hedges running for a very long time given the current level. but which we have seen around easter. a lot of hedges were taken off, that lower yields and a few days later the hedges are being put on. and i think we are continuing to see that. now, you know, that is just positioning. given central bank's rhetoric and if the expectation that inflation will remain way above their target, continues to hold, i wouldn't be surprised if -- the 10 years is close to 3% but a shorter part the market that we are reaching arou

anna: good to speak to you. of course, the adoption rate relies on being able to produce enough cars, and a lot of carmakers are telling us about the difficulties they are having on that front because of chip shortages. as cars involve more and more chips, what is the experience lincoln motors right now? joy: certainly the global semiconductor chip shortage is a big deal, impacting the industry and certainly impacting lincoln as well. we have teams working around the clock to optimize production. we have been taking lots of customer orders. for lincoln alone we took 3600 last month. obviously these electric vehicles are going to take chips as well. the other piece of the puzzle we need is the infra structure for charging, so we have got a ways to go there for mass adoption. that is why we think our timing is good. kailey: if we could dig into chipskailey: a little bit more, what is the timeline, do you think? when do you start to see the pressure on the semiconductor side easing? joy: we are two years into this,

anna: so what are you talking about here? a lot of voices seem to be just talking about inflation, whether that is western central bank, inflation has been under mace -- underestimated by federal banks. there are increasing numbers of warnings and the downgrade to global growth. perhaps we are going to need to focus not on inflation but may be on growth in the second half of the year. what kind of timelines are you talking about? >> i'm really looking at the next two or three quarters. look at what the companies are reporting. we are just getting into reporting season. bank of america reported yesterday. i listened to the call. they reported strong lung growth, fine inflows. they made some very interesting comments. the size of the economy is bigger than it was pre-pandemic levels. consumer spending remains strong. credit is widely available. customers usage of credit line is low. there are a number. jc number reported. -- jc morgan reported. the numbers aren't good cheap -- good shape. -- are in good shape. i'm looking at wh
