. >> you know, juliette, one of the interesting asides that i'm struck by is we were just a few days ago reporting on president bush giving a speech, and he made a slip and instead of saying invasion of ukraine, he said invasion of iraq, as though iraq was top of mind for him, and maybe it always is. or maybe he knew something about this. when would authorities, if this was all unveiled, and if this was disclosed in a march 23rd application filed under seal, when would they have told him about this? >> oh, he would have -- sorry, to interrupt you. you're exactly right. i had the same thought, we haven't heard much from him, and now we have sort of two moments in the last week. he would have been notified. so if this is unfolding for the fbi march 23rd, chances are they're notifying, based on my experience, they're notifying the secret service well before then. the secret service has limited but important jobs. one is to keep a former president safe. so the fbi would have notified them sometime in this period to tell them that there's a real threat or they're following a real threat,

juliette saly is in singapore with the rbnz. and investors fleeing. traders are now dialing back the expected pace of fed hikes is the data cools. let's get a little bit more on that. one of the latest market moves, the two-year paper imploding yesterday -- what does that tell you about the probability of hikes in september? >> what they are telling you is that right now the markets are dialing back those expectations of fed rate hikes. of -- we have seen the expectations come down. you have seen them come down. that is because of this much softer data coming through. the rate hikes that we have seen up to this point, maybe they are starting to work themselves through the economy. of course it is early days, but what the markets are looking for is are we nearing the peak in inflation? is inflation going to come down at a consistent pace? most of the worry is around this slowdown and the minutes from the fed are going to be incredibly important. dani: to that point, we had bostick talking about causing in september. you have bullard switching to the po

with these companies, juliette saw deli, has more on the events in berlin. this monument here behind me plays an important role in the commemorations of may 8th here in germany. the day that marks the end of world war 2. it is meant to honor the soviet soldiers who died in fighting nazi germany during that war. and it is also significant for the ukrainian community here because up to 6000000 ukrainians fought with the soviet army in world war 2 and up to half of them died. and so today, the ambassador from ukraine here in germany, came to this monument for a ceremony. but this year, the war in ukraine and russia's aggression in ukraine has brought a new significance to the event of demonstrators, both from the pro russian side and the pro ukrainian side. we're here to day protesting, calling for different things, and opposing each other. the police have to enact measures that tried to prevent the tensions between these groups from escalating, for example, by banning the exposure of ukrainian and russian flags at sites like this one across berlin. and we have
