just a quick overview on the process tonight on thursday, east palo alto city council held a town hall meeting. with the community. local clergy members and police to start a dialogue about the deadly shooting at jack farrell park. many people said they don't want to go back to living in fear of violence in their city. we cannot solve this. crime and we cannot stop any continuation of public shootings, violence without working together. others criticized police for a slow response to tuesday's shooting and police not being properly equipped to give cpr when i got to the scene, i didn't see any cpr being administrated, nor did i see a mouthpiece when we asked the officer where his mouthpiece was, he said. he didn't have one. city council members also expressed their own feelings. after ralph fields jr was shot and killed at the park, one council member said, fills his cousin and nfl player shouldn't be associated with the case. adams had nothing to do with what happened? he put exercise equipment in the park, and he's trying to get back to our community. there should be that we should n

it happened at jack farrell park in east palo alto at about six o'clock last night. police identified the man who died as ralph fields jr. police called the episode of targeted attacks between two pairs of people. they did not say if fields was one of the shooters. fields is the cousin of new las vegas wide receiver davante adams. adams was traded to the raiders in march and signed a $141 million five year deal with the team. police have not arrested any suspects. and in a news briefing this afternoon, they asked witnesses to come forward. despite the large number of people present for this violent and tragic incident , we do not have many witnesses. are making a plea to our east palo took community. we need to hear from you. there is a street code that's out there. we don't condone any type of violence, but you even broke the street quote. by shooting where kids were. the shooting marks the first homicide in east palo alto this year after a remarkable reduction in violence since the 19 nineties. well centers, a says it is taking a new approach to create new housing
