this is all black sands beach in sausalito, the shelter, cove ocean rescue team used a rescue boat and a jet ski to find the victims. they say they were able to save one person from 15 to 20 foot waves. investigators have not identified either of the victims. well, a few kite boarders at to be rescued from the bay over the weekend. gale force winds and waves reaching up to 15 feet on sunday, prompting a rescue from the moraine county sheriff's office. well, officials say luckily all 3 kite boarders are properly prepared. they have radios and necessary safety equipment on to stay afloat until the rescue boat reach them. well, santa cruz firefighters spent memorial day battling a vegetation fire north of boulder creek. while no structures or power lines or threaten the firm fire grew to about half an acre before crews are able to contain it. these photos posted to cal fire's twitter page show just how difficult it was for fire crews, even access the blaze. 2 engines remain on scene overnight to monitor hot spots. memorial day is a time to join together with friends and family while pay n

in milpitas, dan thorn kron. 4 news investigators have not yet released the name of the victims in sausalito. one person is dead. another in the hospital after being pulled out of the water today off black sands beach. >> the shelter, cove ocean rescue teams used to rescue boat jet ski to find the victims. they say they were able to save one person from 15 to 20 foot waves. investigators have not identified either of those victims. >> a few kite boarders had to be rescued from the bay over the weekend. gale force winds and waves reaching up to 15 >> knots, i believe on sunday prompted a rescue from the marine county sheriff's office. >> officials say luckily all 3 kite boarders were properly prepare. they have radios and necessary safety equipment on to stay afloat until the rescue boat. i was able to reach them. it has been a deadly weekend along the california highways, the california highway patrol says that they responded to 15 deaths since starting maximum enforcement on friday night. the agency also arrested nearly 900 people for dui. chp has maximum enforcement period continues until

alerting officials, a location in the moran headlands on the north side of the golden gate bridge by sausalito. now, an early search found 2 people dead inside the aircraft. the plane is an experimental vans are the 10, according to the manufacturer's web site. it is an aluminum plane with a standard 6 cylinder aircraft engine. it can seat up to 4 people. first rolled out in 2003, there are about 1000 built and in operation the manufacture states on their website that the planes are known for their high cruise speed with the light clean and small airframe. there is an interagency team, including the national park service wright county sheriff's department and their search and rescue unit. the u.s. coast guard faa ntsb are investigating the crash site. now earlier teams used to fire road in the area to get closer to the site. they returned just a short time ago. they are wrapping up for the evening. now we have reached out to the ntsb, but they simply say that they are aware of the crash and that they are going to the investigating at that. they may have some preliminary results in about 2 week
