the coastline. we're going to see some of that sneaky fog moving back in typical summer months. and yet it is going to cool you down out of the beaches right now. mostly clear around the bay area. what a day it was today. these temperatures went from below average yesterday, the well above average today, almost 70 degrees in downtown san francisco. 74 in oakland, 79 degrees in san jose. then we broke out the 80's and live more 81 degrees there. 83 in concord and 80 in santa rosa. so warm temperatures away from the water's edge and that kind of similar right now. you've got some cool 40's and 50's coast side inside the bay a little bit warmer than we're still talking about the 68 degrees in concord. 69 in pittsburgh, still 72 in brentwood so well away from the coastline holding on some of those warmer temperatures. and so we're going to be off to the races for tomorrow as high pressure continues to sit overhead. that ridge brought with it. the northerly winds today. that's that offshore wind and we h

yet the green there that some drizzle being shown up along the coastline. then as we head through the day, some mid to high level clouds begin to mix in behind that. so temperatures are going to come down across the numbers instead of those hot 90's and triple digits. i think maybe we're topping out only the low 80's tomorrow afternoon, inland. a lot of 60's and 70's around the bay. some 80's in the santa clara valley headed out toward the beaches. you can find fog all day long. the temperatures there only in the 50's over the next couple days going to keep things cooler into saturday. in fact, there's this weak system that's coming through going to be where this there's a slight chance. we could see some showers mainly north of the golden gate bridge on sunday morial day looks nice. mostly sunny skies. just a couple of patches of fog at the coast. thanks, lawrence. world news now and russian artillery. it continues to bombard eastern ukraine cities around the clock. russia's defense minister claims. >> forces are trying to avoid civilian casualties. that's

the fog moving in along the coastline. but now that fog and that cool air really surging well on shore. so, yeah, we've got plenty that fog not only along the coastline. you see it over the east bay hills. now and headed further inland, really deep. and so that really knocked these temperatures down drastically almost 80 degrees just 2 days ago in san francisco today, we came in at 62 below the average 69 degrees in oakland. 79 still nice and san jose. and then remember livermore yesterday they had a high of 100 to actually set a record yesterday and live more today. 22 degrees cooler at 80 degrees. 69 was all they can get to in concord. 63 degrees in santa rosa. get the idea these temperatures really knocked down by that ocean air as a push well on shore. and you see the effects now you've got 60's well inland, one of the warmer spots, 78 degrees still in brentwood, but otherwise keeping those temperatures way down from we've seen recently onshore winds continuing to blow. they'll bring more fog and low clouds tonight. wa
