it's going to be a one acre triangle on twin peaks. once it's done, people will be able to see this display from as far as 20 miles away. for pretty much the entire month of june, leading up to the sf pride parade and celebration the last weekend of june. now in case you're not familiar why a pink triangle? it's a historic and tragic symbols in the 19 thirties, the used the pink triangle to identify gays and lesbians in the concentration camps. so the organizer of this display who's been doing this work and spearheading this effort for 27 years now says the goal of this is to bring the community together and commemorate pride month but also to teach people about the horrors of the past. remind them of that sad history so that the mistakes of the past are not repeated. so there is an educational and solemn purpose behind the festivities that will be happening here for the next month. one thing i do want to mention that we'll hear from the organizer and just about 20 minutes, but a new, somewhat new edition this year and last year, maybe
