>> judge jessica: yeah. and donald trump even talked about the collateral damage when fauci kept saying lock everybody down. now we know the masks weren't working, lockdowns weren't working. now we understand that something like 56% of the schools don't have the mental health ability in terms of the professionals or the money to pay them to help take care of these kids, and remote learning we find out is a failure. kids who with math tests scored 30% lower who were in remote learning and it widened racial ine quality, in the poorer school districts, those kids on remote learning suffered tremendously. so it was all a loss. it was almost like this social kind of experiment. let's see what goes on, when everyone knew from the get-go that it was going to hurt kids. and now we have kids that were, when this pandemic started, were in the 6th grade kind of like little kids, you know, if you have kids, and now all of a sudden they're in the 9th grade and, you know, they're hormonally different but they haven't had

let's get an update with jessica washington. she's joining us now from singapore. so clearly a lot of focus on china and taiwan. jessica, what more is being discussed at that dialog? ah, well that's exactly right. well, most of the attention has been focused on the u. s. and china and relations between those 2 countries. it is of course, important to note that this is a security summit generally about issues in the asia pacific. as you can see, many delegates, it's very busy here at the shangri la hotel in singapore. and part of the focus is also on human rights issues in the region and how those intersect with security issues. i'm joined now by william fine, who is the director of the good 10 you foundation with an expertise in piece building and conflict analysis really and thank you for joining us today. we're talking about security issues in the region. if you're paying attention particularly to how those relate to human rights issues, is that correct? absolutely. i just, i think we have to really start looking at how security is frames. and particularly if we'

let's go to cnn's jessica schneider with more. what is this hearing about? >> reporter: they're really keeping a lot of this under wraps. the committee just announced a surprise hearing for tomorrow with very few details. it's set to begin at 1:00 and the committee is saying they will present what they're calling recently obtained evidence and saying they'll hear more witness testimony. no word yet on what the evidence is or who may be testifying, not even an indication on how many people will be testifying. but there has been this sense that the committee was getting inundated with new information and it was just last week that the committee remember jamie raskin talked after one of the hearings about this deluge of information that the committee had been receiving, including via the tip line they have, and even chairman benny thompson has been calling for more people to come forward. he's done it repeatedly after some of the hearings. we saw last week, that was hearing five, this would be hearing six, and last week showcased some compelling testimony. we s

first alert meteorologist jessica burch has a closer look at the temperatures for us, and jessica, i feel like it's been warm all the way around. >> you're kind, right, amanda. on the bright side, we'll start off with the bad news and then the good news this morning. we are warming up into the week. high pressure is pushing from the south, keeping us above average until around tomorrow and then we cool off as we head into the weekend with partly cloudy skies on the way. we're starting off with a live look right now from the black mountain cam just overlooking the santa clara valley where daytime highs today in your local area still a little bit above average. we're mostly dealing with 80s in the forecast today, taking a look at current temperatures right now another live look from the salesforce tower cam 50s across the board. it is a mild start to our tuesday forecast. this is the high pressure that i was talking about. so that's actually the reason, take a look at how it's ridging its way into our coastline, that's driving in the winds, pushing in from the northwest. northwest wind

jessica, can you tell us what this means for us here in the bay area? >> absolutely. no matter where you live in the bay as we're waking up this morning, you are going to be experiencing that heat in full force. yesterday already was a warday. today no matter where you live is about 10 to 20 degrees abo d. so if that says anything as you walk out the door, i live closer to presidio. today there was not all any moisture on my car and i'm used to turning on that windshield wiper. what does that mean for us? it's dry, no matter where you live in the bay area. today we're under a heat advisory also starting at 10:00 a.m., extending throughout the afternoon and ending at 10:00 p.m. tonight. so stay away from of course outdoor activities as much as possible. we're going to break that down a little bit more in a second. i want to start off with relative humidity. this is fascinating for me. look at your local area no matter where you live as you head into the afternoon hours we drop close to 15% on average. san francisco drops below that as we head into the evening hours so
