but for now we're going to start with views rosemary oroczo to talk about what we can expect for your weather forecast this morning, rosemary. i was waking up this morning. just like waiting to hear the rain. i saw some wet pavement out there, but but still coming. headed our west. yes we're just getting started. i had some on my windshield this morning and wow, get a load of this view. isn't that gorgeous? we do have the storm clouds overhead and we are seeing a little bit of light rain began to fall. here's a look at storm tracker two and over the last few hours, it has come ashore. what we have been experiencing for the most part is what we call virga it meaning it is dropping from the sky. but it's not hitting the ground just yet, as we are so incredibly dry out there, hillsborough, perhaps a few sprinkles, there may be a little bit of drizzle, falling. below the radar beam. but the central part of the bay area likely to be seeing some scattered shower activity, especially inside the bay between san francisco and oakland. you can see and then as we head over towards the east looks

rosemary oroczo joins us now with a look at when we can expect that shift in conditions . yes yes, as we anytime, you know, we shift with the weather pattern that pressure gradient will typically pick up the winds. and with that we are looking at a breezy conditions to develop tomorrow ahead of the rain that is expected by sunday . here's a look at the fire zone area over the mosquito fire tomorrow. oh, morning, a relatively calm, relatively humidity is 68% and temperatures are cool in the upper forties. but then, as we get into the afternoon, it's going to be a mild day. relative humidity not too bad at 33% but that southwest wind is expected to pick up again to about 20 mph, perhaps a gusting to 10 miles above that, so it takes it doesn't take a whole lot for it to pick up members and, of course, start new fires, and that's the big concern there. of course, the rain, hopefully bringing some benefit to the firefighters. come sunday and lasting into about tuesday. we also will enjoy that wet weather more on that coming up in just a little bit. all right. where's mary? than

rosemary oroczo is here with more on the september storm, rosemary helpfully had an opportunity to enjoy some of that to study a rain yesterday. today it's all about partly cloudy skies. chance for scattered showers, even thunderstorms. let's take a look at what's going on there on the radar where you can see just a little bit of moisture dancing around the bay area ands we stop it for you here notice. we do have a little bit of it looks like activity right over. perhaps the diablo range outside of that it looks to be partly cloudy and dry at the moment. i'm going to pull back, though, because this is going to be the system that continues to bring us that opportunity for scattered showers and the risk of thunderstorms that is not expected to move out of the area until wednesday. so with that said again, we're going to call for a mix of sun and clouds for the afternoon today, perhaps on and off a showers, although it doesn't look like a whole lot, especially as we get into the afternoon and that unstable air mixed with the heat, bringing on a slight risk of those thunderstorms. temperatur

alright let's go to rosemary oroczo to take a look at your weather forecast for the rest of the day, which is gonna be changing. rosemary a. it's one of those patterns where we could see somewhat of anything. we are looking at sunshine clouds. scattered showers. thunder lightning rainbows. here's a look over a san francisco where we do have those cumulus clouds up over the hills. and we are seeing again a little bit of activity you can see right off our coast line. take a look at all that moisture there. and even a lightning strike indicating some unstable error, perhaps heading over towards the coastline and into areas of the bay for today, and then, as we head over towards the sierra, we do have rain and even a little bit of rain snow mix. do you see the pink and the white out there? so we've got some what weather that will continue. for today. we have thunder and lightning over the sierra as well. and with that again, that's where we get those brief downpours. look at some of the rainfall on monday, both the inner east bay and lake county experienced thunderstorms in the afternoon
