that's where heaviest of stuff is in the north bay. further south in the bay area. look at this. that deeper red just south of san jose alum rock down towards morgan hill. some very heavy rain along 101 right now, santa clara valley definitely getting it as you are. also in the santa cruz mountains and on up across our bridges, inland east bay from the tri valley. snow. great down through fremont and milpitas right in the middle of it. you're also seeing at san leandro saying the renzo up through concord and walnut creek a little bit north. you can see that heavy pocket of rainfall again stretching from walnut creek through pleasant hill, up to concord, on over towards martinez and some pretty hot, heavy pockets of rain fall from golden gate bridge, san pablo bay on up towards valais, how itself? so we've got a lot going on out there. very widespread heavy rainfall. that's that frontal boundary right there making its way through along with a lot of this energy snow in the sierra rain here in the bay area. not your best travel day. just do what you got to do today and be ready for

let's take a look at our bay area forecast because all eyes going to be on our bay area skies, especially with that weak atmospheric river heading its way as early as wednesday. for those of you in the north bay. let's track this storm hour by hour because for north bay, valleys and mountains, we could see anywhere from one and a half to 3 inches of much needed rain. and that's what this are. so very impressive. gusty winds all day thursday, 30 to 40 miles per hour. but we could actually see gusts upwards of 50 miles per hour or less and radar for very dry, calm, clear conditions. but there's that main event right to our north. and it's going to tap into some subtropical moisture for those of you in the north that you could start seeing some scattered showers as early as wednesday night. but the bulk of the wet weather arriving shortly before midnight for the rest of the bay area. it's going to arrive after midnight and it is going to be pretty heavy at times, especially by your thursday morning commute. so plan ahead because this storm is really going to impact. does all day thursday for
