12/12/2011 - Thousands of angry OWS protestors march from downtown Seattle to the Port of Seattle to successfully shut down and occupy the ports. When the protestors arrived at the ports, many of them started picking up heavy materials that were abandoned in the lots and then dumped it in a big pile in the intersection. It lead to a huge traffic jam. One young driver got so upset with the stoppage that he drove right into a protester as the protester jumped on the hood as an instinct. The police arrived in the intersection and there was heavy tension. It was clear no one wanted a rumble. The stand off continued for another half hour until the protesters then decided to walk to another terminal. Chants such as "Shut down the west coast!" and "Who's ports?
