[Music]  the sale of THC Edibles and drinks in  Edina is now regulated on July 1st it  became legal in Minnesota to sell  Edibles and beverages containing no more  than 0.3 percent  tetrahydrocannabinol or THC to people 21  and older in a form limited to five  milligrams of THC per serving and no  more than 50 milligrams per package the  lawn Powers local municipalities to  enact ordinances on matters such as  licensure compliance enforcement and  Zoning last month after a short  moratorium on the sale of THC Edibles  and drinks in Edina the city council  established a municipal Licensing and  Regulatory system modeled after  enforcement code provisions and  practices used to regulate tobacco in  town  the retailers that are likely to sell  these products are probably more  likely to be places that already sell  tobacco versus places that sell alcohol  maybe that won't be true but that's I  think that's a that's a logical Theory  um and so it makes sense to do something  similar to to hot tobaccos regulated  several other cities are also using  their Tobacco Control approach as the  model for controlling these new products  on the market
