Hello.
Does anyone know of a way to import items into archive.org from other web sites without downloading them first?
for example, if I want to save this
http://www28.online-convert.com/download-file/b54ea722bd7c7cbbe7bbdf521b75bce2/converted-89969e54.mp3
(never mind that it is no longer active, but if it was) Is there a way to go to an upload page and import this URL and have the mp3 file show up on the archive server?
Is this possible with S3 put? I'm quite inexperienced with it.
An automated mirroring tool like this is desperately needed for those of us who would like to mirror files but have slow or limited internet connections.
I have been trying for some time to find a solution but have not yet.
