CPU problems after looking at games |
Hello there. Recently, I discovered the software portion of the site and tried out a few of the games just to see them. I didn't download them, but played them on my browser. A few days later, I've noticed that My CD drive refuses to open on its own and I keep getting the little symbol over my mouse pointer that it is trying to read a disc despite it being empty. I haven't done anything different. Is there a chance that one of the files was corrupt and it affected my computer?

Re: CPU problems after looking at games |
I don't see how loading a game in a web browser could cause issues like that, especially after a few days. Those sound like OS- or hardware-related problems, not browser ones, to me. Of course, I could be wrong!
Have you tried restarting your computer, etc.? Or searching for those symptoms on a search engine like Google? For example, searching "CD drive refuses to open" with relevant hardware/operating system details might lead you to a solution. You could also ask a local computer repair store if you get stuck.
