May I provide an answer for the Train Buff! The recording used is simply titled “Trains” by Reginald Gardiner. Hope this helps!

This adds a lot to the scaffolding of the BnR stage.
For a reward, please pick a date in the Bob & Ray era from which we can upload an episode for you.

And if you care to tell your story of finding this, please do.
Now how about the "Locking Of The Doors" key ceremony.

Hello hello!!! First off, glad I could be of help! As a Truly Desperate B&R Fan who has exasperated most content elsewhere, this collection (which I’ve admitted consumed most of) has been a lifesaver. :)

Regarding on how I found the Train Buff in the flesh, I bought the 45’ on a whim a while ago at an attic rummage sale. I played the record, immediately recognized the clips from Mary Backstayge and the rest was history! Sometimes things just come into place. On the other hand, I have no idea about the source of “The Locking Of The Doors”. Maybe it’ll pop up someday. Whenever that is, I’ll be sure to report back!

As for the episode, I’d love anything from the WOR era specifically involving Webley or Kent Lyle. Absolutely love both characters. And finally, to Peter… good luck with Mr. Fish!

The good news is a group of episodes that include Kent Lyle Birdley will be coming soon. The bad news is a bit of editing and such is needed before they are ready.
But to help you through these trying times we will dip into the private collections and upload Today's Date In History. Sept 15th, 1975
So the Lyle you get for now will be the pleasant Lyle Van.

It certainly does! Amazing. And all this time I was sure it came from some obscure recording of patients at a home for the incurably insane.
