Atomic Bomb Aftermath Film |
OK, I've already posted this in Prelinger forum and I've emailed Skip on this as well, but maybe another reader knows what film I am talking about...
Both a co-worker and I have watched a film on archive.org (at different times) which depicted the aftermath of the Hiroshima and/or Nagasaki bomb drops. At the end of the film, there was a part that showed a bombed out church. The voice over told us that the only survivng soundtrack elements were of this part of the film which showed a Japanese congregation singing silent night in a bombed out church. Does anyone know what this film is? It could possibly be a newsreel, but I don't think so due to the length and its coverage of one subject. PLease help!

Re: Atomic Bomb Aftermath Film |
I thought the same thing. But I remember in the reviews about the film, it also talked about the very same scene in which I am describing. Unless it just disappeared off of archive for some unknown reason... I can't imagine why. But I have exhausted every way I can think of to search it. And I know it was here...! (pulling out my hair).
