Uploading "Prelinger Archives" films to YouTube |
It seems like every man and his dog is uploading Prelinger Archives footage to YouTube, and now I'm doing too. Hey, I was gonna run out of Goodson-Todman logos sooner or later. However, each of the videos using the footage features the message "Courtesy of the Prelinger Archives" in the description box, you know, so people know who preserved this FABULOUS footage. Also, I've told all my YouTube friends about the Internet Archive, AND posted links on IMDb. Any thoughts?
And no thread by me would be comnplete without one really random comment: Swordsmen are Cute and Cuddly!

Re: Uploading "Prelinger Archives" films to YouTube |
I recently discovered the site myself, although I've only used just a little (currently use other purchased PD films). I usually put "InternetArchive.org - Prelinger Archive" at the ending credits.
My 'Captain Video #2' & 'Important to Me' videos use some Prelinger footage.
