and dig this, it's followed by "Twist And Shout" which isn't too common a cover either for the Grateful Dead!

Even better, there's a New Orleans>Searchin'>Good Lovin' (Jerry sings Good Lovin') on 8-29-69:

(Also note that after High Time, the audience tries to get the band to play Hey Jude! But Weir says, "Hey Jude is a lost cause." Garcia explains, "We could do it but Weir forgot the words.... The first request that blows our minds we'll do.")

I love the Johnny Winter version of this song on the disc of the same name (Gangster of Love - Collectables Records).

I can direct you to a preview of that song (not a cover as far as I know) if you can longer access or purchase the Oddities album (it may already be o.p.)

Thanks for pointing this overlooked batch of demos.
No doubt this Tastebud actually dates back to late '66 or early '67; and is a misplaced 1st album outtake - perhaps?
And there are slight differences in the 2 mixes provided for each song... but what the differences are exactly will cost you your sanity to determine!

There IS an It's All Over Now from 1970!

The sound isn't great, but I think it's quite listenable. Jorma K joins them on this one....
