Cueball, I'm digging the double tracked Garcia vocals on this Mason's Children the most.
Thanks for pointing this overlooked batch of demos.

No doubt this Tastebud actually dates back to late '66 or early '67; and is a misplaced 1st album outtake - perhaps?

And there are slight differences in the 2 mixes provided for each song... but what the differences are exactly will cost you your sanity to determine!

Yeah, that's actually my favorite Mason's... the vocals are almost there for a change! And I like the slower, chugging groove. I was wondering about that Tastebud's origins too... great piano on it. Tastebud could make your list too, no? As far as the alternate mixes on those Workingman's outakes go... I think one version has more high end and one has more low end. I tend towards the 'brighter' versions... :D
