As far as I can tell, there are no LIGHTS OUT episodes on the IA at present.

I have a couple of episodes - only 1 or 2 - that don't have a watermark/screen bug in the corner from either a DVD company or the Sci-Fi Channel. I will not upload something with a watermark.

If somebody can tell me for sure that LIGHTS OUT is PD and thus safe to upload, I will do so later this week or over the weekend, but not until I know one way or another.

There were 5 'Lights Out' episodes up here that disappeared around the same time as Twainbough. It has been mentioned in other posts that he took down everything he had uploaded so it probably isn't a copyright issue. They've never been mentioned as copyright in this forum. The episodes were:

Lights_Out-S3E32-The_Mad_Dullaghen-2_April_1951

Lights_Out-S3E44-The_Passage_Beyond-25_June_1951

Lights_Out-S3E50-The_Faceless_Man-6_August_1951

Lights_Out-S3E51-The_Man_with_the_Watch_13_August_1951


I can upload these again if necessary. Also, Mill Creek put 4 episodes on their 150 episode Classic Sci-Fi TV box set: 'The Man with the Watch', and 'Passage Beyond' plus 'Just What Happened' and 'Curtain Call'.

That makes 7 I can upload. Please upload any you have and I'll get the rest back over the weekend.

Given continuing confusion over a large/sudden batch of removals that may or may not have been for rights issues, I'm going to try to get together a list of those for reference, review, repost of whatever. It may take me a little while to sift the item names out of the logs though.

The Man with the Watch was the main one I have complete and uncut, without a watermark, probably from the same source as your copy. If you have a good copy and a good connection, go ahead and upload it if you like. I have a "budget" broadband connection and it's faster than dialup, but not extremely so.

I watch out for watermarks and screen bugs in the corner of these shows, after what Video Cellar or perhaps another informed forum poster said that those very watermarks make those specific recordings copyright, whether the original shows are still in copyright or not. I personally won't take a chance. That's why I mentioned that.
