Mountain Bus were really good, but as the story on the link mentions, got a raw deal when Mountain's record label sued Mountain Bus' label - though Mountain Bus formed 2 years before Mountain!
They did a sweet version of I Know You Rider, and their jams hold up pretty well.

wow, Day of Phoenix 1st lp - that's another rare, GD-inspired band, from 1970 - gonna check it out now...
