What I don't get is why the Internet Archive doesn't flag egregiously large files for review. Take the resident evil, metroid, and legend of zelda speed runs. They clock in at a few GB, but can easily be re-encoded with XVid or some other compatible codec into a file that's 200-300mb big. *Without* loss of quality. Not trying to be elite and promote some new tech fad, but this would result in a substantial amount of saved bandwidth.
I'd hate to see such a cool site have to close this section because it's financially absurd.
