Help- Trouble downloading |
I'm a New member and can't figure out how to download a movie, it gets downloaded and wants me to buy QUICKTIME 7 PRO in order to save the file on computer. DO I HAVE TO HAVE QUICKTIME 7 PRO? to do so?? just want to save in mpeg2 or 4 format

You're using a Mac? Hold the control key and click the link. Save the file to your computer.

Wow i finally got it thanks so much for this help seriously I feel like a idiot! Seriously saved me so much time i promise you could make a simple youtube video showing this and it would get a ton of hits thanks

Hi calchick. No, you don't need QT Pro to watch downloaded movies. If you want to get around QT's restrictions just use another player. I use the VLC player, which is a free open-source application that will play any type of movie or sound file. I'm sure the other folks here may have other suggestions that are just as good or better.
