Forum: classic_cartoons Subject: Looking for old b&w cartoon // Doll and LIttle Girl

I am looking for an old black & white cartoon, probably made sometime between 1920-50. It featured a "little girl" being taken care of by her mother. The perspective was from the "mother" -- we watched as she tried to feed and take care of her "child." But, at the end, we see the legs of the real mother come home and we realize that the whole time we have been watching a little girl take care of her doll..mimicking what we now see as her mother's style. The perspective was really interesting because it is always from the little girls point of view (ie: knees down). It has an expressionist vibe, similar to "Park your Baby" (1939). It has been years since I saw it, which was in the early 1970s, and I was probably only about 6 or 7 years old. So my memory is a bit vague on details...and yet I can "see" it so clearly. I welcome any thoughts / suggestions.
