A lightweight albeit excellently produced WW2 action drama which was a tribute to the highly effective LTA (blimp) anti-submarine squadrons operated by the USN. Location shooting (at the USMC Air Station, Tustin, CA) makes this a visually impressive look at an all-but forgotton aspect of the war at sea. CAST NOTE: Noah Beery is billed as Noah Beery Sr. He was Wallace Beery's elder brother and the father of Noah Beery Jr.
