Adam Jochna posted a printed micro switch. I thought is was quite clever to utilize an inexpensive 1/4 inch tactile switch. Here's his posting: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:756126 I designed a similar part, but it includes several enhancements. First, I didn't like having exposed terminals. So, I made side covers that have slots for wires to escape out the bottom. Second, the 2-piece body/lever was difficult to make work correctly. Too much trimming had to be done to get a nice, smooth...

Fits limit switch approximately 20mm x 6.5mm x 10.5mm (not including metal switch and terminals). Allows you to surface mount a limit switch to be activated by a finger for momentary on applications. It was made for use with 3mm x 12mm screws and nuts, but the switch actually only allows for smaller screws until I drilled out the holes in the switch.... eh he he. I will try to post a picture of it in use after I finish my project. Hope you find it useful. You can find my original files on...

If there are any changes that people would like me to make to these switch boxes please post in the comments or contact me directly. Update on the base, moved the outside screws closer in on the mount. Made a new base with the screw points inside the base. Added a top cover for a resistor pot, may fit an encoder as well. I needed a switch for an led light over my desk. I have a pile of these little rectangular switch's so I made a little box with mount for the switch. It took me awhile to get...

This device is used to tie together two horizontally placed household switches. One example where this could be used would be in a bathroom where there is both a light switch, and a fan switch. You could use this as a temporary solution to force people to use the fan whenever they turned on the light, and potentially this could help to expel excess moisture from a shower.

Summary I really liked the dock shelf that boydievonboyd created to get my dock up off of the desk but it was a bit too shallow as the hinges on the back of the dock stick out; it did not fit without scaling the entire model up to about 104%. I designed this one to be a little deeper, made the cable management hole larger to allow installing the HDMI cable after mounting the shelf, and added a version with pegs to hang JoyCon straps from. If printing the version with pegs, place supports under...

This is the third version of a light switch cover I've designed for toggle/decora/rocker type switches to keep my two year old from playing with them. It's low profile and can be added to existing switches by just removing the plate screws, and putting them back in with the cover placed over the switch. We keep the key on top of the trim next to the door beside the switch for easy access that our son can't reach. You don't have to use the key, you can use another thin object of your choice to...

This is a dual light switch face plate and mounting box. It is specifically designed for an Eagle 276W-Box (Two 3-Way Quiet Switches); however, it may work for other switches as well. The model features five small holes at the top for screws and larger holes at the bottom for a drill bit to fit through. You may need to rotate it along the y axis in your printing software to ensure that the face plate is the side that is touching the bed.

Stops people from switching off my wall lights that are push button dimmers controlled by Alexa! Got fed up of trying to turn on the wall lights, only to find that someone had switched them off at the switch. This simple build slips down behind the push switches, preventing them from being switched on and off by pushing the button. It can easily be slid out to over-ride if required, and I have also added a message reminding people of the name of the lights that the switch controls. :-)

Switch - Let's Rock About It by Dikk To talk about Switch it's best to say that it's a rock band, apart from usual designations one usually puts after or before this expression ( which I don't usually use because I think they're mostly subjective ), it all resumes to that popular way of making simple and direct songs, the rebel attitude of saying what needs to be said, the higher, the better; for me this is the common characteristic between the different genres, it's some people who keep...

Light switch guard for 2 out of 3 switches on a common type of UK switch faceplate. There are holes so you can still actuate the 'locked' switches with a pen/skewer/etc, but can't accidentally switch them. Held in place by the same screw that holds the faceplate on, no additional parts. I use mine to prevent anyone accidentally switching off the security lights on my garage! Can be printed without supports, so it comes off clean, and you only have to trim off the brim!

Did you ever accidentally hit the switch of the power strip that is supplying your PC? I certainly did since I mounted that power strip underneath the desk for clean cable management. Unfortunately my knee always gets dangerously close to that switch - and sometimes too close. As solution I designed this snap on cap that makes it much more difficult to accidentally hit that switch with something as big as a knee... The cap fits a Kopp UNOversal power strip switch.

A mount that can be used for attaching the Nintendo Switch to a camera stand with a 1/4" screw thread, which is the type of thread used by modern cameras. It uses the Switch's locking mechanism to secure it in place, and ensure that the Switch cannot fall out. Holder for a rocker switch (13x19mm rocker) with two holes for 6 mm magnets. It has two holes on the side for two terminals that should accommodate 18 AWG wire. The switch is a simple press-fit but the magnet holes are designed so you glue them in. I might try making them smaller later for a press fit later. Do you want a way to make sure light switches are in the "off" position? Do you want your room to look like a missile command room? Do you want to accidentally avoid turning on a switch? If any of these are true (or even if they aren't), you can also print a cover for your standard US wall light toggle switch! Forget the dangling switch-on-a-wire thing, let's put that switch in a solid, mounted housing. This two-piece design lets you put a big beefy power switch into a more safe and eye-pleasing configuration. This is especially a good idea if you're switching AC voltages, or higher currents. The switches that fit in here are your average, large SPST or SPDT or DPDT sort of slide switches with a longer actuator. You'll need at least a 9mm actuator to comfortably use this. 12mm is even better. (Let me...
