Made prior to World War II by Official Films, this silent newsreel THE MARINES HAVE LANDED shows the Marine Corps' basic training including hand-to-hand combat, rifle drill, classroom courses (including a lecture on battleship layout at the 1:30 mark). It also includes footage of Marine airmen in training, flying biplanes, and Leatherneck paratroop trainees learning how to prep parachutes and jump out of C-47s. Navy King Air C90 / T-44c Pegasus Briefing stick. Hole in the back is for a 10.5mm dowel rod (3/8") I am in the US Navy’s Flight School and have made collection of briefing sticks of the aircraft I have flown thus far. Try out some of these other models as well. They all are made for a 10.5mm / 3/8” dowel rod. Use a hook and eye on the end of the dowel rod to hang it up. Some of the props spin and other are super glued on. Currently working on a version of the Osprey that has rotating...

Made this Coaster set for my Father-In-Law. He is a former Marine and a great guy. These coasters do sit together so you probably don't need a tray for them, but I am thinking of making one. I am planning to print these in 2 tone so the pics stand out on the face. Feel free to remix and share these. Enjoy. This object was made in Tinkercad. We are both Marines, so I felt it was appropriate to decorate with a personalized EGA checkered grip. My attempt at designing a model of the ship I served on. I just started with 3D printing as a way to make my students solve problems by designing solutions. I printed it with Monoprice PLA, on a Monoprice Select Mini at 50mm, 210 print temp and 0 base temperature I will upload a file of the aircraft we carried as well. I did this pretty quickly using Tinkercad, and would love to see the bow more accurately shaped, but I lack the skills to do so.
