The house at 772 North Topanga Canyon Blvd. was built by TW Kneen, father of Lynn Dickhoff (photo donor), during World War I. It was occupied by Kneen and then Haines family, and was badly damaged in the 1999 earthquake. The house was later sold and rebuilt. Picture taken in 1991. People gathered on the Topanga Community House ball field looking at the helicopter called; Big Red that was to haul away wrecked cars from the Topanga Creek in 1999. Children got to visit inside the helicopter before it went to work. Over 100 volunteers and children worked on the Wrecked Car Removal Project including Rosi Dagit (photo donor).
