For the 45th anniversary of the East Harlem riots/rebellion. 120 pp. 2012. “We walked off together up to Third Avenue and it was already starting to happen. Everywhere we looked were policemen. I saw a bottle thrown out of a window. It looked like a star and when it hit the street, it made a long path of bright yellow fire, a Molotov cocktail. Then I saw another, and another, and intermingling with its bright light were defined screams and crystal sounds of what seemed to be thousands of...

On the 11th of June, both Muslim activsts and DC Ferguson activists showed up at the Dept of Justice to protest the recent spate of police shootings of Muslims in the US and the FBI's well-worn resort to entrapment. The tactics now in use by the FBI are essentially those of the Green Scare coupled to a quick willingness to open fire. African-American activists against police brutality fear they are next in line for FBI entrapment and murder, this has happened before.

On the 20th of August a small number of protesters gathered at the White House after organizers of a intended larger protest were denied a permit to be there and very heavy rain rolled through the area. One protester asked if the police intend to kill her brother next, another asked simply "am I next," yet another carried a sign reminding all that police in the US evolved from the goons in the old South who hunted escaped slaves.
