My wife needed a small shelf for her circle blade cutter thing and her mini scissors. It needed to be wall mounted so that the kids couldn't get their hands on her tools. This is what I came up with :). Enjoy This object was made in Tinkercad. https://www.tinkercad.com/things/5MlsfHAJ2u6

Brenda Rodrigues is part of the East Indian community, which was shaped by the Portuguese rule there, centuries ago. Her most recent book is called The House at 43, Hill Road , and is a fascinating story, at the same time, of social change in Bandra, the tale of a prominent family, and how the extreme regional real estate speculation made life unlivable for them. Her earlier books included a travelogue and another celebrating her mother-in-law, a prominent seamstress who created the wedding...

A small reel to store seamstress's measuring tape. Works perfectly for tapes with the following dimensions: Metric: 150cm x 1.85cm or, Imperial: 50in x 0.73in It consists of three components: Shell; Bearing (607RS or 607ZZ): 7X19X6mm; Spoll. The use of the bearing makes the assembly a little heavier (with the measuring tape already wrapped about 50 grams), but makes its operation very smooth and easy.

Turn your ordinary fabric measuring tape into a full on tape measure, with this fabric tame measure spooling case! No glue or fasteners needed, it all snaps together! I built this design around a ~120inch/305mm tape with a width of ~20mm. The .scad file is included and has handy variables at the top of the code, in case you need to adjust any sizes. ASSEMBLY: 1. Print the case and roller. The case needs no supports and should have an infill of at least 40% for durability. The roller does need...

Today on the show is Osa Atoe, the brilliant mind behind Shotgun Seamstress! This was a pretty big interview for me and I was really excited to have her on, so of course I fucked it up. She did great though, and I hopefully did ok. It's fine, don't worry. We talk about her zines, the fascinating people she discusses and talks to in said zines, her music , and we both sort of try to define what 'punk' is and whether it can exist in an academic setting.
