Tape Land 61 - Beublin in Jail (5/12/01) 15:36
Welcome to Tape Land! On each episode, I will be presenting the audio of a cassette tape from my collection. It's a way to help motivate me to
digitize more of my archives.
Today's tape is the raw audio of a recording session for my audio comedy series Beublin A. Richardson - for the last episode - Episode 25, "All My
Helicopters".
Original description: "Beublin A. Richardson gets thrown in jail and meets his old friend Horace Doom and ice-cream-store-bomber Gene Bossel."
It was recorded on May 12, 2001, at Video Game Connections, at a strip mall in Howell, NJ. There's a faint clicking sound in the background -
there was something wrong with the Sony Walkman recorder.
In the final version, I applied an audio filter to make it sound like they were indoors. Here, you can hear the original sound of the recording.
Cast: Peter Litkey as Beublin A. Richardson, Frank Edward Nora as Horace Doom, Jay as Gene Bossel, Dustin as jailor.

Tape Land 62 - NYC - Scary PATH Ride (3/6/02) 50:40
Welcome to Tape Land! On each episode, I will be presenting the audio of a cassette tape from my collection. It's a way to help motivate me to
digitize more of my archives.
I used to do "audio mining" in NYC - carrying a tape recorder at all times in order to capture interesting audio, for use on my Internet radio project
at the time, Bluffcosm.com. This tape is an example of "audio mining", along with me talking about stuff.
Notes: (3/6/02), Tape recorders, audio project ideas, ferry boat incident, weird beggar in subway, World Trade Center, J&R Computer World,
elevator, another beggar, siren, Towers of Light Memorial, on the ferry boat, Hoboken, signal problems, scary PATH train ride, (3/14/02), war
dream, Obliviana Wander Radio idea, elevator.

And as if this couldn't get any better, we also have jam packed this episode with all sorts of bonus content! We do our signature Gunkcast review of
several pop culture movies, as well as a certain exclusive You Tube Red series (& take special note to stick around for a possible hidden ending
featuring a certain very long overdue review)! Finally, we have recently unearthed some forgotten recordings which were done several years ago for
an intended collaboration with Jimbo... we offer these in special tribute to his memory here. All of this plus our trademark crazy comedy and
rocking soundtrack (provided by Smidge & the band)... what more could you possibly want from a podcast? Cheers!
Also, please share the love and listen to some of our favorite podcasts at: Onsug, Static Radio, Insignificast, Letter Seventeen, & The Hustle!

DS7: Taking Back the Streets (From the Street Entertainers) (6/29/18) 33:15
Desperate to put out a new episode, Doc Sleaze raids his blog for some recent musings on pop culture. Pausing only for an altercation with a living
statue, our fearless host ponders the problems of the rogue paperwork generated by maverick cops before dissecting so called 'must see TV' and
posing the guestion of whether Netflix is the true descendent of Universal Pictures B Movie unit? Finally, having declared that modern pop culture is
rubbish, we explore some unpopular opinions on supposed pop culture classics. Guest appearances from Clint Eastwood, Boris Karloff, John
Carradine and Lon Chaney Jr.

Into the Time Warp #2 - Dueling Propaganda (6/1/18) 1:38:33
Mr. and Mrs. Piper ("The Couple Next Door") fight for the right to teach their own version of history to their kids. When this conflicts with the
official narrative of the state, the forces of government, media, society and big business unite against them. Dave in Kentucky uses the ensuing
propaganda war as an excuse to present his own version of the truth. But that's okay, because his propaganda is true!
Theme Song, 2nd verse: "Mussolini's got the trains on time! FDR had best get off the dime! I made a guantum leap into a time warp! I lost a million
when the market crashed! I can't remember where the rest is stashed! I made a guantum leap into a time warp! While we've been starting this Great
Depression, the Reds are plotting an insurrection. The market's takin' it on the chin, I'm still drinkin' my bathtub gin, and I'm a-doin' that rag, doin'
that Time Warp Rag!"
Show Art: Peg Lynch & Alan Bunce as Mr. & Mrs. Piper, the Couple Next Door.
