Hi Neighbors
St. Mary's Park Improvement Club
Meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday of the Month
Held at St. Mary's Park Rec Center
Murray & Justin Drive
November 12, 1991
October Meeting UPDATE: Our Business meeting was brief. We started at 7:30
and finished by 8:00
1) We received a reply from Park & Rec about our request for
lighting in the park. We will have to discuss this at our
next meeting.
2) We received a reply from the Traffic Engineer at City Hall
and they are doing a more detailed study. We will update.

CANDIDATE NIGHT: Frank Jordan,Tom Hsieh and Richard Hongisto were well
received. Each one gave a presentation and fielded questions. It was a hugh
success. 42 Homeowners attended. Justin Drive was represented by 19, College
and Benton each had 8, Murray-4, Genebern-3, Agnon-0. So far this year the
October meeting has been the largest one attended. After the meeting and
presentations, we all shared lively conversation with coffee &• Halloween
Treats. There were new Homeowners attending for the first time, and it was
nice to meet them on a one to one basis.
We know there are residents who are unable to attend our meetings, however,
we will update you on our bulletin. I would like to thank all of you who have
been so supportive.
fcRIME WATCH: Our neighbors, Barb & Ted Cordery, have sent us this letter.
"On Sunday evening with both my husband & I upstairs, a stranger came
through our open garage door, he went through and walked out with some of our
belongings. With the help of neighbors this man was apprehended right before
he would have disappeared into the back of St. Mary's Rec Center.
We wanted to say that it is great living in a neighborhood where neighbors
not only keep their eyes open but actually go out on a limb and help each
other. Our special thanks to : Jeff Milla, Chris & Sylvia Cox & Tony Avila
and the other neighbors from whom we did not get names. Thank vou for your
help! ".

SPECIAL THANKS: To all the volunteers who help put the monthly meetings
together and to Rome Camisa for allowing me to copy the "Original By-Laws".
BIRTHDAY NOTES: Alice Quinn and Helen Delucchi who had Birthdays this month.
GET WELL NOTE: To Angelo Lima, we wish you a speedy recovery.
THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY : Due to the recent fire, loss of life and homes in
Oakland, this Thanksgiving should be an extra special one for all of us to
give thanks.
"May all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday."
